EVO 18 type scanning electron microscope
EVO 18 type scanning electron microscope
EVO18 type scanning electron microscope(SEM) is large precision equipment introduced from Zeiss(Germany) in 2014 which Equipped with X-Max 20 energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) produced by Oxford Company.
Main function of SEM and EDS:
All kinds of fracture morphology(inclusive tensile, impact, all kinds of parts failure fracture and etc) analysis, to research the reasons for abnormal fluctuation or low performance, and early cracking and fracture of parts according to the morphology characteristics.
Observation and analysis of high power morphology of metallographic structure.
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the morphological characteristics and chemical composition of various inclusions in continuous casting billet and steel pipe products.
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the composition segregation in continuous casting billet and steel pipe products.
Observe the morphology of the copper plating, chromium plating, phosphating and oxide film on the surface of steel pipe products, measure the film thickness, and analyze the microcomponents of various surface films.
Basis study of new products research and development.
Study on failure analysis of commodity inspection products.
The (SEM)morphology of brittle fracture and ductile fracture of steel
Brittle fracture of steel——cleavage fracture inclusion morphology
Ductile fracture of steel——ductile microvoid morphology
The (SEM)morphology of looseness and sulfide fracture of continuous casting billet
Local morphology of free solidified loose defect fracture in the core of continuous casting billet
Local morphology of free solidified Shrinkage cavity defect fracture in the core of continuous casting billet
EDS analysis of inclusions in steel
Class B compound inclusions in steel——Zirconia + calcium silicate slag + deoxidizing product calcium aluminatein tundish nozzle
Granular refractories doped with class B ultra-long inclusions in steel——magnesium aluminate spinel
Granular inclusion in fracture of alloy steel——Sulfur product calcium sulfide
Massive inclusions in mandrel fracture——carbonitrides of titanium and vanadium
